Han is a pianist and composer. He has performed concerts, written numerous original works, created dozens of arrangements, taught piano for over twenty years, and adjudicated at music festivals across western Canada.

At home on both the piano and harpsichord, Han’s repertoire spans the 16th to 20th Centuries. He has performed for Symphony of the Kootenays (Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 1), Calgary ProArts, TimePoint Ensemble, Early Music Voices, and Rosetown Music Festival. He participated in the CMC Stepping Stone and the RBC Competition with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
His compositions include Three Dances for Oboe and Piano (recorded in Montréal on an AFA grant), Ballad Concerto for Cello and Piano (performed in Calgary and Toronto), a string trio, and other works. His piano works include an arrangement of Ho Ho Watanay commissioned by ARMTA for Canada's 150th, numerous solo works, and arrangements that have been widely downloaded.
Aside from music, Han works on visual art and media projects, ranging from painting and miniatures to photography and videography for local weddings, musicians, and organisations.
Han holds a BMus in piano performance and a BA in English from the University of Calgary, and LRCM and ARCT piano diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Music. His teachers included Peter Turner, Vladimir Levtov, and Allan Gordon Bell.
